Chi Delta Tau Alumni Association Foundation, Inc., otherwise known as Chi Delta Tau Foundation, is a 501(c)(3) charity that was founded in 1993. The purpose of the Foundation is to provide ongoing scholarship support to select members of Chi Delta Tau at Trinity University.

Over the past sixteen years, over 300 alumni and friends of Chi Delta Tau have provided the Foundation with the backing to provide nearly $105,000 in direct scholarship support to-date, with a permanent endowment valued at over $280,000 as of June 2009.

In 2006, our annual grants to students increased from the previous level of $10,000 to $13,000. This was made possible by our successful drive in 2004 to raise an additional $51,500 through a capital campaign conducted in honor of OZ White. In all, the Foundation's total grant is distributed between four scholarships with three at $3,500 each being given to current members of the Fraternity, and one at $2,500 going to a Trinity student who is not a member of the Fraternity. Presently, the University's Office of Financial Aid is responsible for determining all recipients.

2009 marks the 45^th Anniversary of the founding of Chi Delta Tau Fraternity. Since 1994, Chi Delta Tau Foundation has been hosting anniversary celebrations at 5 year intervals—the 30th, 35th, and the 40th in 2004. This year, we will continue this tradition as we celebrate the 45^th the weekend of November 6-8 in San Antonio coinciding with Trinity's Alumni Weekend. The 45^th Anniversary black tie gala will be held at the San Antonio Country Club the evening of November 7, 2009. Chi Delt alumni are invited to register for the 45^th now.
